Today I’m going to dive into my frustration with fake readers and why I believe they feel the need to fake being a reader. This is also going to be a blog where I don’t look for inspiration and it’s just purely my thoughts. I’m not going to look for better sounding words or try to sound like a robot. I’m finding my own personal style again. I’m trying to break that pattern of me looking at videos or posts for words to say, so please excuse my grammar.

This could be something as small as 20 minutes a day or one chapter a day. Any reading is better than no reading at all. To keep this habit in your mind, set a book on your nightstand or somewhere easy to see and grab.

As someone who sticks to mainly one genre, I found book clubs to be a great way to venture off and try something new. I’ve been in a couple of different book clubs, and each one forced me to try something new. And most of the time, I ended up loving it! It’s very interesting to see someone else’s opinions and thoughts. Sometimes it’s fun to just have a friendly debate. I found book clubs to be a great way to venture out on a book. I’ve been in both real-life book clubs and virtual book clubs, but today I’ll show you how to join a virtual one. 

These are so helpful, from organizing your TBR to rating books you have already read. It’s a great way of keeping track and recognizing patterns of what books you tend to like and what books you’re not very interested in.

I personally loooove doing this! It shows your thoughts and how you felt while reading the book. I think it’s super cool to look back on your younger self’s thoughts on a book you loved at the time.

I know all my book girlies have had that time when you feel absolutely no motivation to read anything. I like to call it "book burnout." Trust me, girl, we've all been there.
